Commerce Bank’s Lending team looks to add several Loan By Phone Sales Specialist to work in our Mt. Laurel, NJ office. The position of Loan By Phone Sales Specialist is primarily responsible for serving as the communicator of loan approvals, cross-selling, up-selling and counter-offers for loan-by-phone applicants. Actively sells company credit insurance products to approved applicants. Serves as a resource for Loan By Phone Representatives for product, knowledge, cross-selling opportunities, etc.

 

Principal Responsibility:Communicates decisions on Loan By Phone applications directly to the applicants. Clearly explains the terms of the loan approvals, the required documentation and advises the customers on progress of applications and next steps in the process. Identifies cross-selling and up-selling opportunities that exist and can be offered to the customer including credit insurance products. Describes and sells counter-offers to customers. Processes system approvals, calling customers upon completion. Processes inquiries and applications on employee loans. Communicates lender's questions and obtains credit information needed for processing applications. Provides exceptional customer service to a high-volume number of inbound calls

 

 

Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years' customer service experience. Prior administrative experience in consumer lending and mortgage processing preferred. Knowledge of lending processes and consumer lending products. Ability to prioritize work, handle details accurately and follow up.
