Managing Director - Real Estate Syndications - Capital Mkts

CITY: New York STATE: New York COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Manager of Structuring and Distribution team.

*Develop, based upon relevant market trends, transaction structures and pricing to win transactions that clear the market.

*Develop and maintain investor relationships.

*Responsible for analyses of credit & market risks and the competitive landscape for Real Estate in other parts of the globe.

*Actively participate with Sales/Origination teams to pitch and win business using capital markets solutions.

*Lead, train, and motivate capital markets team to support GE Commercial Finance's financial and strategic goals.

*Accountable for monitoring key risk metrics driving successful executions.

*Accountable for performance management systems, financial metrics and management reporting.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years experience in structuring, syndicating and successfully closing structured commercial real estate transactions (5 years as lead), with verifiable experience including:

Demonstrated growth oriented capabilities in the US marketplace to design financial solutions, balancing investor/market driven risk appetite with winning borrower mandates.

Broad knowledge of capital markets products and capabilities.

Significant global investor relationships/contacts.

Demonstrated experience of syndication of Real Estate transactions including placement of mezzanine trenches.

Extensive industry knowledge and contacts coupled with knowledge of capital markets controllership, accounting, tax / legal issues.
