Marketing Assistant - Commercial & Private Banking Services

Under the direction of the Business Development Officer, promotes, solicits, and assists in a variety of business development activities for selected prospects in a designated market area. Gathers data to be used in the selling process, performs research and begins to learn about bank asset and liability products and services.  Supports the business development sales objectives by assisting in the solicitation and development of new business. Frequently accompanies the Business Development Officer on their in-person prospecting calls to observe and learn successful calling strategies and techniques.


Requires up to 3 years experience.
Knowledge of Bank asset and liability products and services.
Basic understanding of the commercial credit underwriting process. 
Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills. 
Strong computer skills with knowledge in basic software programs like Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
