Marketing Intern

American Eagle Federal Credit Union is seeking an intern for an immediate opening in its East Hartford Main Office location.  If you are an energetic, team-player with a 'can-do' attitude, and have a collegiate focus on marketing, this position may be the perfect match for you.  This is a paid internship. Hours:  Flexible, approximately 20 hours per week


Responsibilities: 

 

?  Research and write letters and promotional copy.

?  Provide marketing administrative assistance as needed.

?  Coordinate and distribute promotional materials.

?  Assist with charitable donations and sponsorship events.

?  Use PC for data entry, spreadsheets, and reports related to marketing activities.

?  Assist marketing staff with promotions and mailings as needed.

?  Organize and maintain marketing storeroom and literature archives.

?  Coordinate projects with internal staff and external vendors as needed.

?  Other duties as needed.


Requirements:

 

?  Excellent organizational skills.

?  Excellent interpersonal skills.

?  Excellent communication skills.

?  Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally)

?  Ability to operate a personal computer with a high level of proficiency in such software applications as word processing, spreadsheets,  Ability to operate a fax, calculator and copier.

?  Some local travel required (less than 25%)

This position will be located at our Main Office: 417 East Main Street, East Hartford, CT.  This is an excellent opportunity for a marketing student to gain real world, hands-on experience in a professional environment!
