Merchant Credit Risk Manager

MERCHANT CREDIT RISK MANAGER
This position is responsible for managing the risk and financial exposure of the Comdata merchant banking function. Which includes ensuring daily monitoring of all merchant credit card activity and daily reporting of charge backs. In addition, the Merchant Credit Risk Manager will develop and administer risk-management and loss prevention programs and initiate policies to comply with industry practices. This position will act as the liaison to attorneys, clients and management in investigating any incidences that may result in asset loss. This person will also be responsible for training of all new departmental employees and accountable for documenting department policies and procedures.

The qualified candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the bankcard industry with experience in the merchant credit card settlement and risk analysis areas. Applicant must have credit card acquiring/processing experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred. Hands-on experience with SAS programming, statistical modeling, segmentation analysis, and financial analysis. Strong written and oral communication skills are needed.
