The Middle Market Commercial Banker in the Security Alarm Group is responsible for managing the client portfolio as well as marketing to and securing new clients in the marketplace.  The target market includes Security Alarm firms, and has recently been expanding into the Media industry.  This position will begin with heavy portfolio management and grow into a Relationship Manager as experience is gained.

?  Portfolio management utilizing excellent customer service skills

?  Credit Analysis

?  Expand the scope of the existing portfolio

?  Market to potential clients

?  Ability to cross-sell banks? products

?  Travel as needed, on the average 2-4 times per month after 12-18 months in the role

 

The successful candidate will possess, at least, three years experience in portfolio management with some sales; commercial credit analyst or lending officer

 

1. Strong Portfolio Management and Credit analysis skills

2. Some experience in identifying new clients, negotiating terms and deal structuring

3. Formal commercial credit training from a major bank, knowledge of underwriting

4. Ability to interface with a variety of client personalities

5. Desire to grow into a relationship manager role

6. BA (accounting or finance preferred)

7. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
