Mortgage Wholesale Business Development Officer

This position is responsible for soliciting new mortgage wholesale business in the Boston Massachusetts market, developing new client relationships, providing on-going and customized client training, managing accounts and maintaining market awareness within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities:Solicits mortgage brokers and bankers to be considered for approval.Analyzes and verifies brokers and bankers to obtain information needed for approval by committee.  Presents recommendations to committee.Develops and implements sales strategies to meet established sales goals.Manages existing account base to identify new sales opportunities and stay current on all aspects of account.Maintains competitive market awareness to continue to develop the product line.  Communicates this information in a clear and professional manner to manager.Review customer scenarios and provides loan pricing to support brokers and bankers.Meets with potential bankers and brokers to evaluate their credentials and discuss loan programs. Establishes marketing account plan for each client.  Responds to and resolves client inquiries and problems. Monitors the performance of brokers and bankers to determine if they should remain approved. Gathers and presents data supporting performance to client.
