National Funding Manager

MILA Inc. leads the pack with it's ecommerce lending solution which allows a broker the ability to get an instant decision and manage the loan fulfillment process right from their desktop. This revolutionary platform has allowed MILA to grow over 800% in the last 3 years. Currently MILA lends in 27 states and is in the process of expanding our reach into an additional 21 states along with additional product lines to include Alt-A and Prime to complement our non prime offerings. We are looking for a proven leader to grow with us and drive the success of our Funding department as MILA aggressively pushes forward with our growth goals and vision of a closed loan in 4 hours.

 

National Funding Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Funding Manager is responsible for the overall integrity and accuracy of the Funding transaction. The Funding Manager is also responsible for the overall directing and training of the Funders and Collateral Assistants. The purpose of the Funding Manager is to monitor production and to report back to the Executive Management Team any recommendations or concerns.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

?  Review Associate?s Performance

?  Manage and delegate time keeping as necessary

?  Interview to hire new associates

?  Monitor Production and Work Flow

?  Problem resolution

?  Monitor Wires

?  Provide production reports to senior management

?  Provide recommendations to management for funding policies and procedures

?  Interact with other department managers to improve service and work flow

?  Fund as necessary

?  Sign collateral packages to be delivered to the LOC Bank

?  Monitor outstanding collateral packages to be delivered to our LOC Bank

?  Define and solve the needs of the customer

?  Help to educate Brokers in the use of AccessPoint and on MILA?s process flows

?  Other duties as requested

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor?s degree in Business required preferably with a Finance or Economics focus5 years of mortgage industry experience in Funding, Escrow or Title with a national wholesale lender3 years experience in a Funding Management role is strongly preferredNational funding experience requiredStrong understanding of Correspondent lending in addition to non-prime, Alt ?A and Prime product channels3 years previous supervisory experience of a staff of 20+ employeesDemonstrated ability to train and develop staff and instill a positive team environmentAbility to identify problems and improve existing processes through analysis and implementationComfortable in a fast paced technology focused environment Proven organizational and delegation abilities Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong mathematical aptitudeExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Office productsAbility to analyze information and make quick decisions Skill in composing and producing positive professional correspondenceAbility to maintain regular and punctual attendance to work additional time when needed
