Job Title: Principal & Interest Associate

Responsibilities and Qualifications

An opening exists for an experienced associate in the Principal and Interest Department.

Candidates should posses a minimum of 4 years related experience with exposure and or working knowledge of DTC, Federal Reserve Settlement System, and Stock Record.

The associate will be responsible for the timely processing of principal and interest payments for various types of mortgage-backed, treasury, and federal agency securities to all customer accounts of the Firm, and all proprietary accounts of the Firm, in a manner that is consistent with the Firm?s internal policies and procedures. The associate will also be responsible for balancing of the Firm?s positions with the current posted factors of the individual products.

In addition, the associate is also responsible for the reconciliation of these payments to the various trustees or paying agents. This includes, but is not limited to the research and resolution on the following :

? Receivables/Payables - all outstanding debits and credits.

? All Fails ? fails to receive and fails to deliver.

? Claims ? all receivables and payables related to claims to the Street.
