Product Analyst - Paramus, NJ

Opteum Financial Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Opteum Inc (NYSE:OPX), is one of the nation?s fastest growing mortgage lenders.  Our tremendous success is based on our strategy of product, channel and geographic diversity.  Each of our 1,000 + mortgage professionals shares our entrepreneurial spirit and is empowered to exceed in our commitment to customer service.  Our Secondary Marketing Department is seeking a Product Analyst to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Product Development Manager in the creation and implementation of written product guidelines and matrices for new products.  You will assist associates with scenario questions and product questions.  Ideal candidate will monitor investor guideline changes; identify and convey to the Product Development Manager on all guideline and matrices changes.  In addition you will maintain securitized product guidelines and provide updates as needed.  Requirements for this position include 3 to 5 years underwriting experience.  Ideal candidate must have an excellent understanding of underwriting Fannie/Freddie, Alt A and sub prime products.  Candidate must be proficient in Word and Excel.
