Essential Functions

As an officer in the Global Treasury Management department, a product manager is under the direct supervision of the group product manager. The incumbent is involved in developing and managing noncredit services that are designed to meet the particular needs of the bank?s business, middle market and large corporate market. The chief responsibility of the product manager is marketing of the line or lines of Global Treasury Management products under his/her control, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling those services commensurate with the objectives of the department of the bank.?

1. Planning & Development

The incumbent develops and executes the business plan(s) for his services. These plans, which are all inclusive? roadmaps of the product manager?s services, consist of one and three year section and are reviewed with the group product manager, cross functional stakeholders, and the department head.

The product manager establishes product design and standards to best fit market expectations.?
The incumbent determines revenue and profit goals for the services and prices them after analyzing market elasticity, costs, and GTM?s overall pricing strategies.

2. Organizing??
?
Working with stakeholders, the product manager establishes marketing strategy; helps stakeholders with sales strategy; provides collateral materials, including internal and external promotion pieces and customer agreements.

3. Directing
?
The product manager orchestrates and participates in the in-house education of GTM Sales, accenting how their product fits with CTP concepts and bank service capabilities; fulfills public relations roles of speaker and author when appropriate.

The incumbent achieves a high level of performance through adequate intra- and interdepartmental communication; makes efforts to improve attitudes and apply I am Key behaviors fairly; effectively coordinates the activities of individuals/departments-divisions integral to the delivery and sale of the line of services for which he/she is responsible while ensuring the mutual satisfaction of CTP goals and those of his/her constituent departments.

4. Controlling
?
The product manager assures product quality by working with stakeholders in determining the level of service expected by the marketplace and the level of service deliverable by operating resources; works with the same groups, establishing agreed-upon quality and timeliness factors.

The incumbent monitors product performance through Q/T factors and sales force feedback; works with operations and systems to make adjustments which the market deems necessary and technology and economics make practical. Coordinates these activities with the group product manager.
?
The product manager handles administrative matters (e.g. progress reports) with dispatch.
?
He/she understands his responsibilities as an officer, One Key and I am Key?s principals, promoting the bank in internal and external relationships, and the community.?
?
The product manager is versed in the technical skills of product management, including planning, product knowledge, resource knowledge, and market environment. He/she is likewise verse in the organizational skills of product management, including inter and intradepartmental communication.

3. Training & Development

Work with Training and Sales Management to develop and deliver product information and training to internal stakeholders.

4. Merger/Integration/acquisition Support
?

Assume a lead role in merger/integration/acquisition activities, by establishing project plans for product line conversions & coordinating resources to accomplish objectives.

5. Marketing Liaison
?
Serve as a liaison to corporate marketing regarding marketing, communications, market research, analysis and other product related marketing functions.?????????????????????

Required Skills
?
Two-three years experience in one or more of the following payment areas: ACH, Account Reconcilement (ARP), Controlled Disbursement (CDA), Purchasing Card, Pre-Paid Cards, or Check processing services.??
?
