Program Manager, Data Center Strategy

Position Description:

 

The Data Center Strategy Program is tasked with developing, syndicating, and implementing a global data center strategy program, including the building of new data centers, the remediation of existing data centers, and exits.  The PMO is responsible for developing, standardizing, and consolidating reporting, communications, tools, and process, as well as ensuring successful execution of the program.

 

The PMO is responsible for a combined budget of $1+Billion.

 

? Develop and manage master project plan, schedules, and critical milestones

? Coordinate issues, interface with technology disciplines as required

? Manage Bank's project schedules for each discipline including critical path tracking across all project disciplines

? Establish and maintain coordination between technology design plans and schedules and the overall facilities and construction plans

? Provide management reports weekly or as required

? Implement project trend tracking methodologies.  Gather and report on project plan metrics, as required, i.e. for project discipline, core team and steering committee reporting.

? These metrics may include numbers of tasks completed within the execution reporting cycle, numbers of outstanding tasks remaining, percentage complete on plan, projected numbers of tasks to complete during specific points in the future, etc.

? Schedule, implement, and coordinate weekly technology meetings.  This includes managing the list of attendees, providing agendas (i.e. action items list, critical path report, et cetera and distributing weekly meeting minutes)

? Track and manage project resources and deliverables

? Weekly project meetings (agenda and meeting minutes)

? Detailed implementation schedule with required resources

? Work schedule including required resources

? Staffing matrix including contactlists

 

Primary responsibilites are:

 

1. Assist in managing and reporting Global Data Center Strategy Build Program with a $1+ billion budget

2. Assist in driving consistancy and standardization for reporting and delivery of data center build projects globally

3. Assist in ensuring consistent and standard process is followed globally for all projects within the program

4. Ensure integration project plans and smooth handovers

5. Assist in follow-up of audit related issues/items
