Project/Business Analyst
Countrywide Bank?s Project Management Office (PMO) has been developed and organized to ensure that the Bank?s strategic initiatives and goals are achieved in a timely, complete, and effective manner. The PMO provides structure, clarity, and consistency in how initiatives and projects are managed and reported throughout the Bank.
The ProjectBusiness Analyst is responsible for providing project management and analytical support. Works closely with other Project Managers in the PMO by providing day-to-day project management support including: developing and maintaining project plans, financial and operational analysis, preparing and analyzing workflows, maintaining all appropriate project documentation, and project reporting. Consistently supports the commitment to compliance by adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and the Countrywide Bank's policies and procedures and reporting all incidence of non-compliance to immediate manager.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide project management support to others in the PMO including the development of project plans, workflows, financial analysis, presentations, and other support as needed.
- Support the development and publishing of executive level project status reports.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Bank?s project management guidelines and methodologies.
- Participate in project management events, seminars, training courses and other opportunities to promote continued professional growth.
A successful candidate will have:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years financial analysis.
- Experience managing cross-functional project teams or related experience.
- PC proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Knowledge of Banking or Financial Services industry is preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and lead teams while generating a spirit of cooperation.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
