Project Delivery Manager (Non-IT)

The Position

 

For a global investment banking customer, we seek an on-customer site Project Delivery Manager to focus on project implementation and management.  The role will be based on customer site in Manhattan, New York and will report into a New York-based manager

 

You will:

?  be a primary client contact for eClerx and be the critical liaison between client personnel and off-shore teams

?  oversee project execution, ensuring that customer expectations and service level agreements are met

?  moderate weekly project calls and help resolve day-to-day issues

?  develop excellent relationships with client personnel at various levels

?  provide ?consultative? assistance where required

?  develop extensive knowledge of the industry, relevant financial products, client systems and client processes, and apply this to improve program outputs to meet current trends and needs

?  identify business opportunities and work closely with the offshore team to develop into pilots

?  negotiate and close deals

 

You will receive basic training in New York and Mumbai.

 

 

The Requirement

 

You must have:

?  an undergraduate degree from a reputed college (preferably majoring in business or finance)

?  1-2 years experience in consulting / business analysis /or financial services

?  excellent spreadsheet skills

?  process design / improvement bent of mind

?  strong problem solving ability, communication and presentation skills

?  excellent time management and the ability to work in an unstructured environment

?  excellent work ethic, the willingness and diligence to learn

?  savvy and personality to build relationships

 

Prior project management experience is a definite plus, but not essential, as is prior knowledge of financial products ? especially derivatives. Experience in i-banking trading operations, business support or other related function will be weighted favorably

 

 

Compensation

 

$70,000 + upto 35,000 annual bonus.
