Quality Assurance Auditor

*Requires FHA/FNMA/VA underwriting and Regulatory compliance experience.*

 

Job Summary:

 

 Plans, coordinates, and directs quality assurance audits designed to ensure quality consistent with established standards by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Functions:

 

Pull reports to determine audit selections (10% of all loans on a monthly basis).

Coordinates agency file audits.

Responsible for individual file audits and reviewing loan files for regulatory compliance.

Audits branch files to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.

Conducts fraud investigations.

Creates and maintains spreadsheets and reports for quality assurance department.

Responsible for maintaining the BSM book maintenance by continuously updating state licenses, employee resumes, financial reports, insurance documents, and any other information that be required.

 

Experience:

 

One to two years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organizations.

 

Mathematical Skills:

 

Ability to calculate Figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,

Proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Other Skills and Abilities:

 

Two or more years in mortgage experience.
