Quality and Process Improvement Manager

Oversees a staff of four to six professionals who spearhead the identification, justification, and implementation of operational improvement initiatives. Measures, analyzes, and reports on key performance indicators, both internally and externally, for assigned operational and business units.

 

Creates, analyzes and reports on key performance indicators. Identifies key trends and opportunities for process improvement through the use of traditional statistical analysis along with practical experience in operations and/or data processing.

 

Directs and leads process audits and re-engineering initiatives to identify weaknesses, recommend, and implement improvements.

 

Identifies and manages business intelligence and customer service workflow technology initiatives to provide key performance indicators and customer metrics, and support customer service processes.

Provides quality assurance tools, resources, and training to operations staff, business unit staff, and clients.

 

Required Skills:

Bachelor - Industrial Engineering or Business Administration, MBA preferred

Ten plus (10+) years progressively responsible experience in process improvement and quality management and implementation; in-depth experience with the use of quality improvement tools and methods, consulting, and training; demonstrated experience leading and managing professional staff; strong results orientation
