Qualifications

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior management responsible for the assigned business lines through continuous, proactive communications ensuring a clear understanding of management?s expectations of Regulatory Risk and Compliance Management, and periodic meetings to discuss compliance plans, regulatory imperatives and LOB strategic goals. 
The Business Line Liaison is also expected to stay abreast of issues in the related markets and industries and to share best practices with senior management.
Direct or provide guidance and support to assigned business lines in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective compliance plans/programs. 
Provide consultative support and advice to the business line management in the development of solutions to complex compliance and business concerns.
Assist with risk assessments of new products and services, participate in compliance due diligence reviews of M & A targets and evaluate compliance implications of emerging initiatives.
Assist with preparation for and ongoing management of all regulatory compliance examinations. 
Assist with the periodic compliance risk assessments of assigned business lines? compliance risk infrastructure and program. 
Ensure that management is apprised of areas requiring attention. 
Ensure timely and adequate complaint response process.
Professional certification and/or Securities Licensing Required.

Responsibilities

The BLL Senior Manager will oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of effective compliance programs for assigned business lines, and provide consultative support and advice to business line management regarding complex compliance and business concerns.  The individual is also responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with senior management responsible for the assigned business lines as well as staying abreast of business line strategic goals and industry/market best practices. Each Business Line Liaison will assist with risk assessments of new products and services, participate in compliance due diligence reviews of merger and acquisition targets, and evaluate compliance implications of emerging initiatives.
