Regional Manager - De Novo Branches (VA & MD)

REGIONAL MANAGER - DE NOVO BRANCHES (VA & MD)

This Regional Manager leads and directs all sales and service activities of De Novo branches within a designated Region (Virginia and Maryland). Grows PNC Bank?s market share through sales and service management. Ensures delivery channels are used in optimum manner and that region branch distribution network is effectively servicing customers. Continuously works to directly lead, coach and performance manage Branch Managers. Ensures the successful and proactive management of all employees in the Region in the area of sales and service management. Ensures the highest levels of service throughout the Region to provide increased customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Management:

Accountable for growth, acquisition, and retention across the Region. Provides sales coaching across the Region. Understand the drivers/dynamics of business and customer profitability. Accountable for the implementation and/or development of sales programs in the Region. Understands and executes sales and marketing programs to optimum performance Accountable for developing branch manager to coach employees in the PNC Conversation, profiling, Genesis contacts and the PACE process.

Service Management:

Provides service leadership and coaching across the region. Accountable for the Customer Experience in the region and coaching branch managers and employees to greater results in causing an experience that is differentiated, memorable and valuable every time. Accountable for the implementation and/or development of service programs in the Region.

Leadership:

Clearly and decisively leads the Region in all sales and service activities. Communicates the RCB?s vision to employees, customers, and communities. Can direct and manage in an environment of change. Provides coaching and feedback to branch staff on skills, performance and results. Leads diversity initiatives across the region Causes a workforce that mirrors the communities we serve.

Customer Satisfaction/Retention:

Accountable for overall satisfaction and retention of Region?s customer base. Actively coaches and leads management staff on expected sales and service behaviors, utilization of tools and outcomes to cause a consistent and valued customer experience.

Employee Satisfaction/Retention:

Accountable for overall satisfaction and retention of Region?s employee base.

Employee Development

Accountable for using tools such as the Commitment and Alignment Conversations process to set clear expectations for Regional employees and then coach for improvement of skills, performance and results. Engages in career development conversations with Regional employees on a regular basis. Plans for Salary Actions for Branch Managers and other Regional employees while adhering to overall planning guidelines and communicates salary decisions clearly to employees during compensation conversation.

Community/Business Development:

Assumes a purposeful and meaningful role in the community to maximize PNC?s business opportunities.

Risk Management/Control:

Exhibits sound operating control and expense management, particularly in the areas of compensation, operating losses, facilities and equipment.

Managing Vision and Purpose:

Communicates a compelling and inspired vision or sense of core purpose. Can inspire and motivate entire units or organizations.

Required Skills

Bachelors degree with a minimum of 7 years direct supervisory and leadership experience, preferably in the sales and marketing field, dedicated to production/results. Demonstrated competencies in priority setting, communication, recruiting/hiring, performance management, sales management, coaching, motivating others, decision making and critical thinking. Travel is required throughout the Region, as well as in the Territory/footprint, as necessary.

Additional Preferred Skills:

Experience with opening new branches is preferred.
