Regional Security Coordinator - Glen Burnie, MD

Fraud control and general security responsibility for multiple market areas  within the Greater Washington Region of SunTrust Bank. Investigation and prosecution of complex financial crimes and management of a high volume case load. Conducts security audits, security training, emergency planning, and  special projects as assigned. Investigates and provides  risk analysis of workplace violence incidents, making risk mitigation recommendations to management. 

 

This opportunity requires a minimum of 5 years of financial criminal investigative experience or significant operational level experience in a financial institution or industrial /commercial environment required. Broad based knowledge of financial institution security, practices and regulations. Strong oral and written communicatio skills. The ability to interact and communicate decisively with all levels of individuals within the corporation and outside of the corporation. Strong knowledge and use of common office and datea base computer applications. Two years college level study or equivilent training.  Four year College level degree. Knowledge of criminal justice system and fraud statutes at federal, state and local levels gained through studies or experience.
