POSITION SUMMARY:

Wescom is a credit union with over $3.5 billion in assets and seeks a Registered Representative for the West Los Angeles area to provide full service financial services to clients. The representative will sell financial products and services to members by supporting and promoting our full service investment platform.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

As a Registered Representative, you become part of the credit union environment providing investment services to members and building member relationships.

 

Researches client accounts and provides information to help appropriate personnel resolve member problems and complaints.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

College degree preferred.

 

Experience in a broker dealer or retail investment firm also preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in sales of investment products (ideally in a bank/credit union environment)

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Good written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to understand and articulate the features and benefits of Wescom Financial Services? investment products and services.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.  Experience with contact management systems and hypotheticals desirable.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

 NASD Series 7 and 63 or 66 (preferred), and L&D Insurance licenses required.
