Right now, we have a challenging opportunity available for a Repurchase File Reviewer in our Ann Arbor, Michigan location...

Review repurchase demands for validity and attempt to cure deficiencies whenever possible using various tools and research methods available, including contacting delinquent borrowers, brokers, and settlement agents.  Pursue recoveries under the terms of the reps and warrants provided in our contracts from various 3rd parties.  Review loss statements and coordinate repurchase funding with Investor Accounting.  Monitor indemnifications and submit claims when applicable.

A qualified candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skillls.  An ability to handle adversarial  conversations in a professional manner to reach the desired outcome.  A general knowledge base of the mortgage origination process and various investor guidelines.  They must be exceptionally organized with the ability to multitask due to the various processes that must be completed on a regular basis.
