Residential Banking Processor / Loan Processor

 

Responsible for processing and maintaining all consumer/residential loan files. 

1.  Interfaces with other Bank employees regarding problems, research, assistance, etc.

2.  Advanced knowledge of Consumer/Residential loan and general Commercial loan processes.

3.  Processes Residential Loan payments, loan advances and draws.

4.  Maintains loan tickler system/follows up on document exceptions.

5.  Monitor past due loan reports.

6.  Provides administrative support such as preparing correspondence, photocopying, faxing, retrieval of reports, etc.

7.  Works directly with retail and commercial customers on loan documentation issues to assure timely closings and updates.

8.  Effectively coordinate and monitor loan processing using Laser Pro and Jack Henry software.

9.  Advanced knowledge in Jack Henry loan processing system preferred.

10.  Retail loan processing and administration (i.e. order floods, title work and credit reports)

11.  Prepare and Coordinate closing documentation.

12.  Properly disperse, close and book loans on Jack Henry system.

13.  Post loan processing and recording (i.e. mortgages, satisfactions and car titles)

14.  Assist Commercial Loan Processors as needed.

 

AREA OF FUNCTIONS:

-Calls clients to retrieve documents necessary for tickler files to be completed.

-Insure accuracy and follow up on loan files to ensure accurate documentation is being maintained 

- File documents and adjust control sheets.

-Follow up on all accounts within completion of the file.

-Assist all customers

 

Job Prerequisites:

Experience in Laser Pro and Jack Henry required

At least two to three years of Consumer/Residential loan processing.

Advanced understanding of loan documentation and review

Ability to work directly with customers of the bank.
