Retail Mortgage Production Operations Mgr 2

Job Description: This position is located in Miami, FL ---The Production Operations Manager 2 is responsible for managing the operations of our retail mortgage production/servicing center including loan processing, underwriting, assessment, pre-closing and closing tasks. Responsible for coaching, influencing, developing and managing staff several units or departments. Manages other supervisors/managers and/or majority of exempt level employees which involves making decisions relative to performance reviews, terminations, hires, discipline, salary actions, etc. Influences performance of a business unit or functional area by working as part of the decision making management team. Participates in strategic planning disucssions and provides recommendations regarding future direction. Formulates and oversees implementation of new and revised systems, policies and guidelines which have significant impact on the unit, department or functional area.


Minimum Qualifications: 5 or more years related mortgage operations experience.
2 or more years mortgage operations management experience.
Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate, train, and develop employees.
Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to analyze procedures and information to identify potential problem areas within the Operations area.
Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to foster a positive work environment to promote productivity and teamplay.
Flexibility to adapt to a changing work environment.


Preferred Skills: LIS System knowledge
FHA/VA experience
Familiarity with PC-based applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Understanding of sales environment to facilitate effective communication with Sales personnel.
Strong impact and influence skills.
