Retail Operations Manager

Our Retail Operations Manager provides organizational leadership and management to Retail Administration operational and backroom areas, including (but not limited to) centralized retail support, deposit compliance, branch cash, account set-up and management, store security, facilities, customer service, ATM and/or consumer/small business lending.

 

Participates as a member of a team of operational managers to fulfill objectives and goals of unit(s) managed/supervised and the Retail Administration organization as a whole.

 

Integrates and/or manages resources through the development and implementation of operational and administrative policies, practices, procedures, controls and programs.

 

Sets standards and monitors performance to those standards.

 

Develops project plans, contributes to due diligence evaluations and participates in corporate initiatives and processes.

 

Participates in or leads periodic reviews and assessments of operational effectiveness and efficiency and makes recommendations for improvements/changes as necessary.

 

Monitors best practice trends for area managed and implements operational changes as appropriate. May have a role in the Business Resumption Plan.

 

May act as a liaison and/or collaborate with other operating groups to resolve problems, make recommendations for program changes and/or ensure compliance with state and federal banking rules, regulations and audit requirements.

 

Establishes and/or operates within approved budget.

 

Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.

Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers.

Manages, through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and employees.

Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).

Significant experience in and knowledge of consumer and small business lending.

Extensive knowledge of departmental and lending unit interdependencies and workflow process.

Requires a Bachelor?s degree in business or equivalent.
