Sales Agent

Telhio Credit Union is seeking a representative with banking / lending experience to service the needs of the members for all products and services through in-bound calls.  A complete understanding of all accounts and services as well as strong member service skills are essential.  Acting as a one-stop information source, the Sales Agent?s primary focus will be to interview members for all consumer and mortgage equity loan requests and assist the member in resolving loan-related problems.  In addition, the Sales Agent will look for sales opportunities when reviewing credt applications and underwriting decisions. The Sales Agent is also required to accurately and efficiently open and close all types of accounts, assist in the service queue.

 

The representative must be highly organized and detail oriented. The representative must also have the ability to work under pressure within deadlines. Must be able to work independently with little supervision and provide extraordinary member service.  Maintaining the confidentiality of all member account information and activity is mandatory. Qualified applicants will have the following qualifications:

?  A minimum of 1 year experience as a teller or similar position in another sales or banking institution

?  Effective communication skills (oral and written)

?  Strong organizational skills to provide a high level of accuracy on all transactions

?  Possess team ?attitude? and professionalism

?  The ability to operate the office machines needed to perform the job, such as computer terminal, and calculator/adding machine

?  Must successfully complete the Telhio training course

?  A Notary Public designation will be required

?  A High School graduate or G.E.D.

?  Must be bondable, have good credit and pass background check

?  Must pass drug screen
