Job Summary:

> Runs teller window

> Opens new accounts and settles loans

> Cross-sells Bank products and services and refers to other departments, when appropriate

> Responds to customer inquiries pertaining to Bank products and services and follows customer service guidelines

> Helps supervise the activities of the branch ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in accordance with established policies and procedures

Requirements:

Education(ED), Experience(EX), and Knowledge/Abilities (K/A), required for competent performance in the job:

ED High School diploma, or equivalent.
EX In-Store: 2 years sales experience and 6 months supervisory experience. Traditional: Internal 1 year teller experience at Provident Bank. External 1 year teller experience and 1 year Head Teller experience.
K/A Ability to sell branch products and services.
K/A Ability to be goal-oriented.
K/A Excellent customer service and communication skills.
K/A Ability to work under conditions of heavy business volume and frequent distractions.
K/A Ability to work well in a team environment.
K/A Aptitude for working with numbers.
K/A Detail oriented with the ability to proof work with accuracy.
K/A Ability to work independently.
