Tri Counties Bank has been aggressively opening new branches throughout Sacramento for the past five years. The bank plans for eight more locations in the Sacramento Valley in 2006. Tri Counties Bank operates a total of 49 branches total throughout the Central Valley from the Oregon border to Bakersfield.

 

 

Tri Counties Bank, one of California?s premier community banks, is seeking 3 experienced New Accounts/Sales Professionals for 3 of our Chico branches. We require candidates with either new accounts and banking experience or a proven track record in sales.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Financial Services Representative II promotes and sells all retail Bank products and services to new and existing customers. 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

? Provides prompt, efficient and friendly service to Bank customers.

? Quotes rates, terms and fees on deposit and loan products.

? Sells all retail loan and deposit products. Cross sells all other appropriate Bank products and refers to other departments as required.

? Meets sales and referral goals as assigned.

? Maintains a current understanding of stated policies and procedures, including regulatory and compliance issues.

? Accepts loan applications, interviews loan applicants, and completes other credit related responsibilities.

? Specialize in specific loan product sales.

? Maintains accurate sales records and regularly reviews sales results with Branch Manager.

? Profiles and telemarkets new and existing customers for cross-sell opportunities, new business development and account servicing.

? Prepares necessary documentation from the sale of products and services and inputs data.

? Reviews all account documentation and assumes responsibility for its proper completion.

? Participates in branch promotional programs.

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

 

? Assists other branch team members in non-primary assigned duties whenever necessary.

? Assists in training branch team members, whenever appropriate, on product knowledge and skill development when necessary.

? Performs monthly certifications when necessary.

? Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

 

? High school graduate minimum. College degree preferred.

? Excellent selling and cross-selling skills.

? Effective written, verbal/nonverbal and interpersonal skills.

? Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows based programs.

? Successful completion of Bank product and sales training courses and appropriate certifications before advancement in grade level.
