Salesperson-Financial Services, Assistant Vice President

Spherion, in conjunction with one of the world?s leading financial services providers, seeks a Salesperson to build up new client relationships (cold calls) for Capital Market Sales(CMS) within the Global Banking Division. 





Job Description:

As the Salesperson you will advise clients in CMS products and sell these products to all clients covered by CMS, and if necessary, involving product specialists.  These product include Foreign Exchange, Money Market Products and Derivatives and communicated to clients via phone/correspondence. 

 

The Salesperson will also:
Be responsible for the growth and management of a client porfolio (corporate and financial institutions)
Support CMS clients in their daily business
Acquire and buildup of non-clients with future potentials
Monitor local market and local competitors
Manage and maintain the CMS portfolio and acquire new clients
Generate revenues of individual clients and for the total client portfolio
Proactively manage client portfolio
Provide clients with advise and tailor made solutions on foreign exchange and money market
Provide clients with tailor made presentations and regular briefings
Establish close relationship with relationship managers, cash sales, and Global markets
Have the ability to grasp opportunities for structured products for clients, to structure and close the deal

 



Requirements:
5-8 years of industry experience
Series 7 and 63 licensing
Have a good track record over a couple of years in terms of revenues and client relationship
Have knowledge of our products like FX (plain vanilla as well as structured products), Short-Term Investments, Interest Rate Derivatives and Commodities
Experience that demonstrates that you had responsibility for the coverage of mid-cap clients regarding capital market products
Have knowledge about US-Gaap (especially FASB 133)
Have Spanish language skills
Accounting knowledge
Commodity market experience
Foreign exchange and interest derivative experience
