Senior Core Java Developer - Mortgage Backed Securities New York

Top Tier Investment Bank in New York City requires a Senior Core Java Developer. This is to work within the Fixed Income Derivatives business area on high frequency real time trading systems. This high profile group is in the process of building a platform for their MBS business. This role sits with the business and involves daily interface with traders and Quant researchers. Ideally you will have knowledge/experience of the mortgage business including Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), Asset Backed Securities (ABS), CDO, CMO, CDS.
Candidates for this outstanding opportunity will have a strong educational background and a minimum of 5 years Java J2EE programming experience in the Finance industry (Fixed Income/MBS/ABS/INTEX preferred). The preference will be for candidates who have built electronic trading systems. This role is an ideal opportunity for a fixed income Java J2EE programmer looking to move closer to the business.
