Descriptions:

Providing leadership direction in the development / implementation / ongoing management of statistical models and decisions logic to support risk management and business partner initiatives. Identification of business needs, development of modeling / policy proposals to change: existing models / bank policies and/or systemmatic rules for  using the models and/or decisioning strategies. Evaluation of model performance - model rank ordering; population shifts; model viability stats (KS, Divergence, etc.); customer service metrics (hold rates, cash rates, pay rates, etc.); and loss performance. Will be accomplished in part through the development of periodic and supportive MIS and accompanying executive summaries. Development of risk assessments for new products and services. providing analysis and consulting to support the business in the use of predictive models, scors, and decisioning strategies. Providing ad hoc analysis and reporting as required to support new liability and credit product / service initiatives. Providing project leadership and support, as required, and for business initiatives.



Requirements:

Must have experience in working in the development of productive models. masters prferred and/or Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and / or implementation and/or management of predictive risk models and/ or automated decisioning strategies. Financial services experience -- Retail checking experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required. Computer literacy with MS Office software preferred. Risk Management experience is a plus. Highly motivated and energetic team player. Able to multitask and deliver solid results under a fast paced work place. SAS Report writing experience is a plus. Experience in developing business requirements, systems, and testing criteria (and plans) for system enhancements. Should understand portfolio dynamics and analysis in order to drive out appropriate MIS. Understand credit risk from credit risk from a quantitative and be able to indepedently conduct studies and analysis.
