A senior front office Java developer is required to work within the Equities client connectivity group of one of one of the largest Investment banks in the world, located in Manhattan. The team will be responsible for developing new systems to enable the anticipated growth in order flows over the next 2 years. Managing a small team of developers you will concentrate in particular on local client connectivity as well as the integration of this with client connectivity groups globally. Frequent Collaboration will be required with the UK and Hong Kong offices as well as occasional visits. From a technical perspective at least 5 years Core Java experience is required as well as a good knowledge of UNIX and FIX. Experience or the capacity to successfully manage teams will be required and at present only candidates from an Investment banking background or relevant third party vendor will be considered.
