The Human Resources Business Partner ? Private Client Group (PCG) is accountable to partner with and support the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner ? PCG and provide overall strategic Human Resources solutions and consulting support to a diversified client base consisting of Bank of Montreal, BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. and Harris Bank employees in order to fully leverage human capital and to increase organizational effectiveness while ensuring all employees within PCG are treated fairly and equitably. Under the guidance of the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner, this role will proactively identify, investigate, develop and provide recommendations for short-term (up to 2 years) human resources plans for the Line of Business (LOB) supported. The main client relationships are with the Senior Leadership teams and managers, however, where client groups consist of BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. employees, the relationships will develop further into the support of the these employees on all Human Resources related issues.

 

Knowledge:
Combined Bank and/or HR experience of
2-5 years.
University degree and/or Human Resources related qualifications (CHRP)
Thorough knowledge of Bank products, services organization and Banking Group interrelationships.
In-depth knowledge of current Human Resources practices, policies and employment legislation
Working experience in any two of the following Human Resource disciplines would be considered a definite asset (Employee Relations, Training and Development, Job Evaluation, Compensation, Talent Management, Performance Management, Organization Design)
Ability to resolve diverse and ambiguous issues
P.C. literate (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
