Senior Loan Processor

Job description and duties:

* Performs all processing and pre-closing tasks required to successfully take loan from application to submission to underwriting.

 

* Process loan files verifying the accuracy of documents received.

 

* Issue proper disclosures, as required by federal regulatory compliance and policies

 

* Review rate lock and for accuracy and ensure rate-lock extensions occur in a timely manner

 

* Order required credit reports, appraisals and other documentation to complete loan files.

 

* Work closely with the loan officer, buyers, sellers, title companies, escrow and real estate agents to obtain additional documentation, as well as, complete loan submissions and perform closings

 

 

Job Requirements:

* At least five years' experience in mortgage loan processing (conventional and government, purchase and refinance)

 

* High school diploma or equivalent

 

* Excellent communication skills

 

* Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.

 

* Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize well

 

* Excellent customer service skills and must be a team-player.

 

* Solid computer proficiency

 

* Knowledge of federal and state mortgage banking regulatory requirements
