Senior Tellers process customer transactions, establish and control customer records and files, and perform required maintenance on customer accounts. Senior Tellers answer customer inquiries regarding their account or company products/services. Senior Tellers review and communicate with customers regarding their financial situations. Senior Tellers also refer customers to branch sales staff for products and services that would be beneficial to them.

Senior Tellers provide guidance and direction to tellers and newly hired tellers. They handle escalated customer issues/complaints and assist the tellers with balancing and/or posting questions. Senior Tellers also process paperwork and perform Customer Information Systems (CIS) set ups and a variety of other operational functions as needed by the Financial Center.



Minimum of 6 months of retail or teller experience
Ability to communicate courteously and professionally
Basic math and computer skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to sell financial products and services and meet referral goals
Must be able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday
Must be detail oriented
