The algorithmic trading team of this top tier investment bank based in New York city is looking to recruit an experienced Java technologist to work on the development of a next generation automated trading system for the Equities business. Working as part of the small automated trading team you will be required to write new algorithmic trading strategies and models whilst continually liaising with both Quants and traders, to implement these into multithreaded Java code. An excellent understanding of algorithmic trading strategies and the Equities business are required as is several years experience of server side multi threaded programming in Java. Unix experience is preferred as is previous use of C++.
