Service Transaction Specialist – Bilingual

Requirements:

In this position, you will anticipate and recognize customer issues, complaints and problems and facilitate the resolution of these issues. You will complete service requests for customers who walk in or telephone the financial center; help customers access safe deposit boxes; and process mail, wires and phone calls efficiently. You will also maintain an updated knowledge of customer service policies and procedures and product capabilities; comply with all state, federal and bank regulations; and uncover customer needs beyond the immediate transaction and successfully transition customers to the appropriate source or channel to address the need. In addition, you will demonstrate exceptional service behaviors, enhance customer satisfaction and profitability, support the platform employees in simple sales and customer education processes, as well as provide teller transaction quality and efficiency to customers.

A high school degree or equivalent with one plus years? face-to-face customer service and teller experience are required. Knowledge of Wachovia retail products and services is preferred. Cash handling experience and a basic understanding of financial concepts such as credits, debits and cash handling are required. Effective communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Basic Internet and email skills are required. You must be willing to provide and receive performance feedback and able to work a flexible schedule that accommodates standard hours for retail operation. You also must be able to communicate in Spanish fluently.
