Small Business Product Manager

Responsible for promoting sales of the Small Business products to achieve corporate, bank, and LOB objectives.? Partners with marketing to develop solicitations and promotional materials that support business unit objectives. Identifies and implements product and process enhancements to improve sales and profitability of Small Business products. Analyzes product results and performance to proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Job Responsibilities:
? Managing the sales efforts for all Small Business loan products including lines of credit, business credit cards, and term loans.
? Creating enhancements to Small Business loan products and creating new business products.
? Ensuring marketing solicitations will achieve business objectives.
? Developing, testing, and implementing new rate offers to increase product sales and profitability.
? Preparing the loan plan in conjunction with the LOB Controllers.
? Communicating product and sales information to the sales force.
? Developing, implementing, tracking and analyzing existing portfolio growth initiatives such as credit line increase programs and access check mailings.
? Participating in integration projects between Capital One Bank, Capital One, and North Fork Bank.
? Leveraging vendor relationships with MasterCard, Total Systems, and Harland to achieve business objectives.

Required Skills:
Education and Related Experience ?
??? College degree required
??? 5+ years experience in product management, risk management, financial analysis or other relevant analytical and project management experience
??? Knowledge of business banking preferred
??? Knowledge of credit card products preferred

Skills and Abilities ?
??? Demonstrated ability to manipulate data through various software packages for the download and upload of data for use in analysis.
??? Strong organizational skills
??? Must be team-oriented and able to work in a matrix management environment
??? Self motivated and able to handle and prioritze multiple projects and responsibilities under limited supervision
??? Must be able to proactively prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities, under limited supervision
??? Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
??? Possess strong communincation skills
??? Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external partners
??? Proficient with spreadsheets (Excel), databases (Access), word processing and Powerpoint

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements -
??? Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
??? Ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions.
??? Ability to read and interpret a document.
??? Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence, omitting lifting as a physical requirement.

Location can be New Orleans, LA or Dallas, TX.?
Open to negotiation to be located in other Bank offices in LA or TX.
