plumRHINO Consulting has an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity for a Software Vendor Procurement Consultant located in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree and 8-10 years of equivalent hardware/software vendor experience along with 5-8 years Software specific Supplier Management/Negotiation Certification experience. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships related to enterprise software environments. This position is expected to manage more than $150 Million in annual vendor related spending. Consultant will be responsible for providing strategic insight on suppliers in the software technology industry. This position is particularly focused, but not limited to, contractual agreements that are high risk and impact the corporation's profitability. This position is jointly accountable for commodity specific professional services and IT Vendor Management. Candidate must have excellent negotiation, relationship management, interpersonal, and team building skills. MUST HAVE MANAGED AT LEAST $150 Million in annual vendor related spending.
