Sr. Business Analyst with Summit experience

PLEASE SEND RESUME TO:   Point of contact for all related issues associated with business lines, using SUMMIT as their trade and information processing system.

Responsible for managing Summit project and infrastructure support teams (hotline/research/feedback).
Assist in day-to-day issues with technical support, development and maintenance of SUMMIT systems.
Managing SUMMIT as an external vendor (client relationship)
Responsible for producing EOD (daily batch) and ad-hoc reports defined by the different business lines using SUMMIT.
Ensure proper testing and delivery of SUMMIT applications (specifications/regression/test cases)
Responsible for defining strategy for implementing new products or enhancements to existing products covered by Summit Systems.
Understand changes in business environment and continuously evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of Summit Systems against changes in business environment.

Communicate (both written/verbal) with and influence Desk heads as well as Risk Control regarding SUMMIT related risk management applications for Front Office.

Position Qualifications
Educational Background
BS Minimum

Previous Work Experience
Minimum 5-7 years experience, preferably in a Front Office or Risk management position. Sound fundamental knowledge of Summit?s functional and technical architecture. Experience and familiarity with Summit Systems? Trading and Risk Management software and the core API required.

Business Knowledge
Ideal candidate would have a strong knowledge of Front Office and Back Office processes. Background in capital markets, particularly with corporate treasury instruments and interest rate derivatives. An understanding of Risk Management required. Experience in Mortgage Back Securities very helpful. Knowledge of municipal markets (muni bonds, swaps) a plus.

Product Knowledge
Ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of Fixed Income. Interest rate curves (bonds, swaps, BMA, muni curves). MBS with focus on CMOs (fixed, floaters). Generic products (Money Market instruments, bonds, swaps, swaptions, cap floors, repos reverse, futures). Municpals (bonds, swaps) and/or GICs would be a significant advantage
