Balance Sheet Solutions, LLC is an SEC registered broker dealer and investment advisor providing investment services to credit unions. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of a $9 billion wholesale financial institution that provides investment services to credit unions nationally.  We offer a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated investment sales professional who will manage the business development efforts in a proactive manner to increase market share, achieve excellence in relationship management and establish Balance Sheet Solutions, as the premier provider of financial services for credit unions. 

 

Primary responsibilities include: increasing the usage of Balance Sheet Solutions products and investment services by credit unions through the maintenance and enhancement of relationships with key decision-makers; selling additional products and services to both current and prospective member credit unions, with the goal of increasing market share and capital accumulation for Balance Sheet Solutions; and developing sales plans for the territory by analyzing market data and uncovering sales opportunities.

 

The candidate selected for the assignment will possess seven years experience in the capital markets area of a financial institution or broker dealer.  This position requires a thorough understanding of institutional consultative sales and the ability to match member needs with appropriate investment products.  Previous experience in conducting sales presentations and excellent communication and strong team building skills are a must.  Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses are required for this position and knowledge of the credit union industry a plus.  Series 24 is desirable or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
