Sr Personal Financial Associate

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Position will perform Senior Personal Financial Associate functions which include but are not limited to:
1. Assist members and potential members with telephone requests; answer questions about products and services including loan products; recommend products that will benefit the member; resolve problems that are within their authority to resolve; refer problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor.
2. Conduct face-to-face and/or phone application interviews, effectively communicate loan decision to members, prepare loan documentation and fund loans upon approval.
3. Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding lending and deposit regulations.
4. Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
5. Accept loan applications over the telephone. Interpret credit bureau information received in reference to applications.
6. Direct phone calls (with minimal transfers) to appropriate personnel/department if out of realm of service.
7. Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
8. Assist members with remote access and recommend various methods in order for the member to be serviced.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
10. Mentors other PFA’s development.
11. Assist other departments as needed.
PREREQUISITES:
1. Equivalent to a high school degree; some college preferred in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
2. Three or more years of financial institution experience with a heavy emphasis on lending
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
4. Excellent listening, communication and telephone skills
5. Must be able to multi task
6. Operate a 10 key calculator, typewriter, computer keyboard
7. Able to make decisions with minimum supervision
8. Ability to work as a team with other departments
