JOB DESCRIPTION: Sr. Project Manager
The Program Manager (or Senior Project Manager) directs and monitors technology project(s) delivery across technology platforms, applications and/or business lines. Responsible for understanding the business challenge (both functionally and technically) and bringing to bear past experience, current fundamental skills and management presence to drive the successful planning and implementation of technology solutions
Must be able to demonstrate experience or the ability to perform the following activities:
Participate or lead at all phases of the system development life cycle.
Managing delivery on simultaneous projects; lead project managers in the development and execution of project plans.
Prioritize program activities, identify/quantify/mitigate risks, and analyze program performance metrics (budget, resources, schedules and quality) for proactive management.
Provide monthly program status and related financial reports against a master program schedule.
Lead quarterly program planning of multiple projects and be able to accurately assess staffing and other resource requirements and maintains master program schedule
Basic qualifications:
Must have Bachelor?s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or relevant discipline.
At least 4-5 years with a Big 4 systems consulting or systems integrator such as Accenture, BearingPoint, Deloitte or IBM which includes at least 2 years at the Manager level. If no experience with a large systems integrator, then candidate should have at least 8 years of successful progressive technology project and program management experience.
At least 2 years of mortgage banking or financial services industry experience.
Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
Command of the full suite of Microsoft Office tools with the requirement to show a past project schedules and project management deliverables
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
