Sr. Project Manager/Change Management Specialist

plumRhino Consulting has an exciting direct hire need for a Senior Project Manager/Change Management Specialist in Richmond, VA.  The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree and 5-7 years of change management and 5-7 years of project management experience; MBA, PMP, Six 5+ Sigma, or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.  This position will serve as in-house Change Management Specialist within the Project Management Office (PMO), managing the development and implementation of change management programs that support large scale business process and organizational transformation initiatives.  Must have experience establishing a change management program office including the design, development, and implementation of change management deliverables.  Specific responsibilities include: implementing changes to systems, processes, and organization which have a positive impact on quality, efficiency, and/or revenue. Will work with all levels of management and project teams to integrate appropriate change management strategies into project planning and implementation including: stakeholder analysis, change readiness and gap assessments, evaluating training needs and developing comprehensive communication. Serve as a consultant to firm project teams to ensure that impacted business units are effectively aware, educated and prepared for the change and equipped to successfully migrate to the desired end state.

 

Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills are required.  Proven ability to build consensus and cooperation as well as the ability to interact and negotiate with all levels within the organization.  Must have the ability to absorb and synthesize detailed information and present actionable information to executive decision makers.  Proven track record of superior performance and management effectiveness is required.
