Storage Specialist

Our client is a major financial institution with multiple opportunities in New York & New Jersey areas.

We are currently recruiting for a seasoned Network professional with strong experience in Storage Administrtaion.

This opportunity offers challenge, and growth within this organization.

The Storage Administrator will work as part of a team responsible for all aspects of supporting and maintaining a large and dynamic Distributed Storage Area Network which has Windows, UNIX, AIX and LINUX servers attached. Prior storage administration experience is essential. The role will require a strong background in Windows and UNIX administration and support, as well as thorough knowledge of EMC and Brocade hardware and software products .The role will include some off hours and weekend work, to provide a 24x7 support for the environment and to perform required maintenance and provisioning work

Qualifications

5 + Years Storage Administration experience

5 + Years Unix or Windows Administration experience

Knowledge of EMC Hardware & Software

Knowledge of Brocade & CISCO Fiber Channel and fabric OS support

Programming (Shell or Perl)
