Technical Architect

Description:
The Information Technology Department delivers superior customer experiences through the development and support of front and back office systems while focusing on IT's four core values: Partnership, Excellence, Innovation and Efficiency.

Architect, design and implement solutions according to business and technical requirements provided for various analytical applications. Oversee the development and enhancement of analytical applications based on user needs and requirements.

Essential Functions:
* Lead the technical solutions for various analytical applications.
* Ensure all analytical solutions are implemented on time, on budget, and according to business and technical requirements provided.
* Ensure all analytical applications are maintained and enhanced based on user requirements
* Current Applications / Solutions which the technical architect will be responsible for
1. Outbound Marketing Automation - Smart Prospecting (Epiphany)
2. Inbound Marketing Automation - Smart Selling (Epiphany)
3. Marketing Analytics - Propensity Modeling (SAS)
4. QRM - Quantitative Risk Management (Credit Risk Model, Balance Sheet Management System, Fund Transfer Pricing) - MS SQL Server and Oracle
5. Polypaths
6. Derivative Solutions
7. Loan Performance
8. Vortex data feed - SAS programs
9. Credit Analytics - Oracle- SQL/PL SQL Programming

Enterprise Data is responsible for Data Warehouse Development and Support, Data Modeling, Data Governance, Business Analytics Infrastructure, and Enterprise Reporting.

Qualifications:

* Self-motivated, able to get work done with minimal supervision
* Creative, able to simplify processes and improve customer experiences
* Result-oriented, able to deliver quality work on time
* Multi-tasking, able to manage and deliver multiple tasks within short timeframe
* Data management and analysis experience.
* Experience with analytical applications in a financial environment.
* Application development and process optimization experience.
* Understanding of database models and architecture.

Education and/or Certifications:
Graduate level preferred

Technical skills and abilities:
* Experience architecting/implementing analytical applications in a server farm environment.
* Strong SAS, Oracle SQL programming experience.
* Experience with applications listed above in "Essential Functions" section.
* At least three years of experience in database systems.

Physical/Mental Requirements:
* Strong analytical thinking to enable quick problem resolution.
* Abstract thinking to enable creative solutions.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
