Training Manager, Deposit Operations - Corporate Training (121967-618)

We seek a Training Manager specializing in Deposit Operations at our North American headquarters in Glastonbury, CT. The successful candidate for this position will manage customer training activities as they relate to client deposits and the retail operation of financial institutions to ensure clients are knowledgeable of purchased products.

In this role, you will
 * plan and develop client training programs
 * develop the structure and content of the company?s client training programs
 * work with department managers to ensure that training programs highlight key product functions and features
 * evaluate current training programs and implements improvements
 * manage a client education team
 * manage personnel activities of staff (i.e., hiring, terminations, training, appraisals, rewards, motivation, disciplinary issues, coaching, etc.)
 * direct training activities of subordinate instructors
 * ensure that training programs are developed that meet clients' needs by getting input from client care and focus groups, marketing, implementations, on client training needs and desires
 * assist in development of marketing techniques and materials to promote training services
 * keep informed of and maintain proficiency with all company products
 * serve as senior-level product instructor in special circumstances.

To qualify for this position, you must have:
 * a bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business, education, computer sciences or finance
 * typically 7-10 years of experience in the financial industry training adult learners, product support and/or consulting with a minimum of one to three years as a senior level instructor
 * excellent knowledge of company's products and application areas
 * excellent writing, editing, communications, presentation, human relations and interpersonal skills
 * professional appearance and presentation
 * at least five years minimum of proven management experience required
 * a willingness to travel 25-50%.
