Description Transaction Advisory Services Partner. Houston, TX. Bears the overall and ultimate responsibility of the engagement with regards to risk management and quality policies and protocols of the organization in the context of a multinational client headquartered in the US. Acts as the mentor of the global team belonging to a global organization and makes sure that team members are appropriately supervised and coached. Brings leadership to the global team, helps colleagues better understand and execute the organizations strategy, and supports the professional development of team members. Brings leadership to the client by identifying business issues with a global perspective and their effect on the financial performance and reporting of the client. Values the quality of the engagement and proposes additional appropriate services to the client that are in compliance with independence rules. Brings technical expertise in solving complex issues wherever they appear in the group. Contributes to internal activities of the organization by demonstrating leadership and seniority that will help further develop the organization. Develops excellent networks both internally and externally in order to deliver appropriate solutions to clients. Communicates advice clearly and confidently to clients and ensure the team delivers on promises. Accountable for the engagement and service delivery to clients; scopes out major projects or engagements, and develops practical plans for their completion. Manages risk to ensure relevant business and legal issues have been addressed. Serves as a trusted business advisor on client matters. Drives client satisfaction by providing clients with timely, responsive, value-added services and work that meet and/or exceed client expectations. May have sign off authority. Manages engagement economics through value-added billings, effective use of staff mix, and the implementation of timely billing and collection strategies. Builds and develops engagement teams; fosters teamwork, develops individuals by conducting performance reviews, serving as a mentor and finding development opportunities. Successfully delegates to all levels of staff. Generates new business opportunities by effectively positioning self in the community and establishing strong referral networks. Drives sustainable growth by understanding EY and its service lines and actively assesses ways to apply knowledge and services. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with key client executives. Has deep understanding of the applicable accounting and industry standards. Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Accounting, or a related field
* Must have 11 years of experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm, or particular business/industry experience to meet special needs
* Must have CPA certification or foreign equivalent
