Transactor

Major Activities:

Actively solicit new lending opportunities.

Establish deep working relationships with Director Level Financial Consultants through proactive calling program with targeted FCs.

Act as primary lending expert to all targeted FCs within territory.

Probe for and develop lending opportunities with FCs and other non-organic sources.

Meet clients and prospects.

Develop loan opportunities with clients and structure loans.

Prepare and negotiate term sheets with client.

Deliver complete loan application packages to underwriting team.

Effect a smooth transition of loan opportunities to I/F/S for underwriting.

Obtain KYC and SOW information.

Oversee entire credit process through and including credit approval, closing and funding.

Work with credit director on more complex transactions.

Handle workflow from Senior Business Development if and when needed.

Participate in Tailored Lending Forums.

Participate in FC recruit meetings.

Make presentations to Regional Directors, FCs and VIP meetings.

Attend PWM Level II training as a panelist.

 



Subjective Goals:

client, FC and credit approvers.

accountability.

Balance: Exercises considerable judgment and juggles demands of credit quality and revenue. Willing to walk away from transaction due

to credit weaknesses and/or character issues regardless of the revenue impact.

Corporate Citizenship: Upholds values of firm at all times. Acts in best interest of shareholder. Able to deliver "bad" news to FC and/or

client in a comprehensive way without diluting message (and even if disagrees with message).

Control: Minimal documentation exceptions and unresolved legal bills within 90 days of deal closing.

Reporting: Timely and thorough submission of all pipeline and calling activity reports, as required.
