Treasury Management Coordinator

Summary The Treasury Management Associate will be responsible for monitoring CIP (Customer Information Program) violations on a daily basis. This individual will work closely with the appropriate offices and staff to resolve these violations.  This position is responsible for maintaining compliance related to record keeping, documentation and timely IRS and customer reporting related to HSAs (Health Savings Accounts).  The position is also responsible for account analysis and sweep servicing.  This position will be required to provide a thorough and working knowledge of Deposit Operations, with a heavy emphasis on Treasury Management Products including and staying abreast of industry trends and government regulations. Will work closely with Internal and External auditors to ensure compliance within the Deposit Operations Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Monitors and maintains compliance with CIP program. Including the tracking and monitoring the progress on all violations ensuring compliance with regulations and bank policy.

Monitors and maintains compliance with HSA accounts to include reporting, and customer transfers and rollover transactions. May assist with training program for sales staff.

Responsible for maintaining internal and regulatory compliance related to Treasury Management activities.

Manage relationship with Internal and External auditors to ensure that audits run smoothly and effectively, data requests of met in a timely manner, etc. 

Responsible for account analysis servicing, including statement rendering, parameter changes and positive and negative earnings credit rates, fee adjustments, and officer code assignment and maintenance.

Performs setup, processing, and balancing, and servicing of on-and off-balance sheet sweep accounts, including Dreyfus, Irwin Return and 3-Way Sweeps.

Assist department manager and direct supervisor as needed on special projects and implementation of improvement processes.

 

Provides high level of support to sales staff in varying time zones.

Performs CheckFast tracking and processing of disputes.

Acts as backup to other Deposit Operations staff.

Minimum of 2 years banking experience

Analytical skills and ability to multi-task

Ability to communicate effectively with various bank staff

Aptitude for numbers

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and functions available within Excel

High level of customer service skills

Staying current on industry trends and government regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years bank operations experience

Deposit products experience

Proficient with state and federal regulations

Compliance Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations and internal company policies, including but not limited to Anti-Money Laundering, Fair Lending, Truth In Lending, Privacy, and Anti-Discrimination, to the extent each applies to current job responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

Associate?s Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Lotus Notes; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
