POSITION SUMMARY:
Centralized trust and investment operations position that has ultimate responsibility to open, close and perform all maintenance on accounts in all database systems. Process, post, reconcile, balance and execute all tasks associated with being a liaison to underlying custodian and with branch offices. Provides risk management and quality control in order to limit financial and regulatory exposure to the holding company and the bank. Reports to Director of Operations and Technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Interface with the Client Service Representatives at each branch
? Interface with underlying custodian and third party providers
? Receive in and process all new client account paperwork
- Setup account and input all coding on core system (legal and tax, performance reporting, retirement account reporting, etc.)
- Setup account and input all coding on investment portfolio accounting system
- Prepare and send out transfer paperwork to prior custodian
- Monitor and follow up on receipt of all assets
? Setup online access for each client
? Process contributions and withdrawals (checks, ACH?s and wires)
? Review, print, bind and send:
- Monthly Statements
- Monthly Performance Reports
- Quarterly Performance Reports
- Annual Gain/Loss Reports
? Participate in and prepare for regulatory trust and investment management audits
? Other duties as they develop
REQUIRED SKILLS
The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics: Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ablility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work on a team.
Software Applications: Advent, Metavante, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SalesLogix
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
College degree, minimum 2 years experience back office support with a financial services firm.
